CAN-Myanmar is immensely proud to announce that Daw Zar Li Aye, Advocate of the Supreme Court of Myanmar, who has been tirelessly fighting for justice and human rights in Myanmar, has been honored with the prestigious “IBA Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Legal Practitioner to Human Rights 2026” by the International Bar Association (IBA) at its Annual Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.  

In her powerful acceptance speech, Daw Zar Li Aye courageously affirmed her determination to continue fighting for the restoration of the rule of law in Myanmar, emphasizing that “nobody is denied justice because of who they are, what they believe, or whom they love.”  

As an LGBTIQA+ organization in Myanmar, CAN-Myanmar is deeply honored to have put forward her nomination for this highest global human rights recognition. ဂုဏ်ယူဝမ်းမြောက်ကြောင်း ကြေညာချက်

ဒိန်းမတ်နိုင်ငံ၊ ကိုပင်ဟေဂင်မြို့တွင် ကျင်းပသည့် IBA နှစ်ပတ်လည်ညီလာခံ၌ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ တရားမျှတမှုနှင့် လူ့အခွင့်အရေးအတွက် မဆုတ်မနစ် ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသော တရားလွှတ်တော်ရှေ့နေ ဒေါ်ဇာလီအေး သည် အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ရှေ့နေများအသင်း (IBA) မှ ချီးမြှင့်သည့် “IBA Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Legal Practitioner to Human Rights 2026” ဆုကို ဆွတ်ခူးရရှိသွားခဲ့သည့်အတွက် CAN-Myanmar မိသားစုမှ အတိုင်းမသိ ဝမ်းမြောက်ဂုဏ်ယူမိပါသည်။  

ဒေါ်ဇာလီအေး၏ ဆုလက်ခံမိန့်ခွန်းတွင် “မည်သူမဆို မိမိတို့၏ ဖြစ်တည်မှု ယုံကြည်ချက်နှင့် ချစ်ခင်စုံမက်မှုတို့ကြောင့် တရားမျှတမှု ရပိုင်ခွင့် ငြင်းပယ်ခြင်း မခံရစေရေး” နှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် တရားဥပဒေစိုးမိုးရေး ပြန်လည်ထွန်းကားလာရေးအတွက် ဆက်လက်တိုက်ပွဲဝင်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ရဲရဲဝံဝံ ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။  

CAN-Myanmar အနေဖြင့် ယခုကဲ့သို့ တရားဥပဒေပညာရှင် ရှေ့နေများအတွက် ကမ္ဘာ့အဆင့်မြင့်ဆုံး လူ့အခွင့်အရေးဆုများတွင် တခုပါဝင်သော ဤဆုအတွက် တရားလွှတ်တော်ရှေ့နေ  ဒေါ်ဇာလီအေးကို အဆိုပြု (Nominate) တင်သွင်းခွင့်ရရှိခဲ့သည့်အတွက် ဂုဏ်ယူဝမ်းမြောက်ရပြီး၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ အဖိနှိပ်ခံပြည်သူများ၊ LGBTIQ+ အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းနှင့် တရားမျှတမှုကို လိုလားသူအားလုံးအတွက် ဆက်လက်ရပ်တည်ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ✊🌈
