LGBTI-INCLUSIVE OBSERVATION MISSION OF MYANMAR (LIEOMM)

The LGBTI-Inclusive Observation Mission of Myanmar (LIEOMM) is founded on September 15, 2020, and that collaborates with 20 LGBTI organizations and LGBTI activists around the country. Myanmar’s first-ever LGBTI domestic observation mission is to support free and fair and inclusive, and credible elections in Myanmar. The LIEOMM has received accreditation cards from the Union Election Commission of Myanmar through CAN-Myanmar and will observe Kachin State, Kayin State, Mon State, Shan State, Sagaing Region, Bago Region, Magway Region, Ayeyarwady Region, Mandalay Region, and Yangon Region with 100 LGBTI observers.
